Other Good Hands In Omaha

Hands that come often in your, in Omaha, will be probably alot of these hands I will enlist in this post. They aren’t high ranking hands or really low ranking but somewhere in the middle and if you use them well you can set up some impressive hands.

Hands In Omaha Poker

-King Of Clubs, 2 Of Clubs, 3 Of Diamonds and 4 Of Hearts
This hand can offer you a draw to the flush. The draw to a low card won’t be the best, unless an ace hits the board. It is playable in a late position, although you might need to release the hand if the flop doesn’t fit the hand.

-King Of Clubs, King Of Diamonds, 10 Of Diamonds and 10 Of Spades
With a hand like this you can make a straight, though it is really difficult, you can also make a flush although not the strongest or even strong to a mid level. I don’t endorse this hand but it can be effective for a patience player. The hand can become a set or a ful house. But like I said, I don’t endorse this hand because it looks really better than it is.

-8 Of Clubs, 9 Of Hearts, 10 of Diamonds and Jack Of Clubs
This is a staight draw with no flush possibilites. If you make a 5-6-7-8-9 straight, any low hand will take half of the contested pot. If you make a big straight you run the risk of losing, the entire pot to a higher one. Many think the mid-range cards are dicey holdings in Omaha/8 and this is another hand no pro will endorse, cause they are riddled with unneeded risk.

-King Of Clubs, Queen Of Diamonds, 2 Of Diamonds and 3 Of Clubs
A decent looking hand that can lead you to trouble if not wisely used. On the good side of things, it is double suited, providing two flush draws and two straigh draws are possible, also a good low hand. Though you can’t have good flush or low unless you get the ace on cummunal cards. Many pro’s call this a trouble hand for it’s bad side effects. Not the ideal choice of many poker players.

-5 Of Clubs, 6 Of Diamonds, 7 Of Diamonds and 8 Of Clubs
Like I said before most players will be recultant to play these mid range cards cause both low and high hands pose threats to them. You could scope the pot but have little chance but getting scooped you have a high chance. Specially when you make a straight and your opponent makes simply a higher straight.
