Worse than being quartered is playing hands that don’t hold much truth or do anything usefull actually. If you player mid-range hands that are surrounded with weaknesses. You just might end up getting nothing in the end even if you were really doing well through out the game. If you play a straight of 9-8-7-6, but end up splitting the pot with a low hand. Another situation, if you play a Q-J-10, you just might end up losing to a way stronger hand, which I am sure one of the 8 players hold. Losing the entire pot right infront of your own eyes can be the most bone cracking moment you can ever have in front of a poker table, in your entire life.
